Since 2000, Freetime has been developing outdoor gear with one commitment: outdoor adventure should be affordable. From the classic rectangular sleeping bag to the high-end lightweight mummy, from the ordinary camping dome to the technical trekking tunnel tent, from the rugged hiking rucksack to the lightweight backpack with mesh panels, our French brand offers a complete range of outdoor gear.

We have been working closely with our suppliers for over 20 years. This gives us the confidence to produce high quality gear every year. The long-term collaboration between our design team and the development teams in the factories ensures efficiency and provides a good team spirit.

To ensure the longevity of Freetime products, we work with fabrics that we have long known to be ideally suited for use in the outdoor industry. From rugged 600D and 900D polyester for our large backpacks to ultra-fine 15D polyamide for our lightweight Nanopak sleeping bags.

At Freetime, we are aware of the environmental challenges, and even though we are a small company, we want to take every possible step to make a contribution. That’s why we’ve been using the Responsible Down Standard for our sleeping bags for several years. And as of our 2020 collection, all of our sleeping bags and backpacks are made from fabrics finished with PCF-free water repellents. We know there is still a lot of work to be done and we are working on it, always with the philosophy that quality outdoor gear should be affordable.
